Our Granite selection
Granite can be highly polished to expose all of its natural characteristics; honed for a matt finish or flame-textured for an aged, antique finish.
These finishes can also be combined to produce interesting patterns and features.
Granite and marble are sometimes mistaken one for the other, although these are very different materials geologically. Granite is much older and harder than marble and is actually igneous rock formed mainly of feldspar and quartz, usually with traces of mica or hornblende.
Granite is tremendously popular for its aesthetic appearance and its hardwearing, almost maintenance-free qualities. This is especially true for kitchen worktops and counter tops, where the need for a hard wearing material is critical. Granite will far outlast the building in which it’s installed and has become the material of choice for today’s luxury homes and offices thanks to its enduring beauty, as no synthetic material can yet compare to its elegance and performance. Its unique variations in color and veining turns make each specimen a natural work of art. It is cool to the touch, and presents an image of classic grace and beauty. Granite creates an immediate impression of elegance, and is considered a definite plus on any property specification.
We do our best to always have in stock the extensive choice of granite shown thereafter. In case you are after a particular stone that is not listed below, please contact us to discuss. Additionally, note that, granite being a natural material, small samples must not be considered as other than broad representative of the material of the same name.
